I begin the editing process by breaking the story into content-based sections and reordering them if necessary. Next, I focus on the sentence structure, phrasing, word choice, and grammar. Afterward, I fact-check and ensure the entire story is following the appropriate style guidelines. Lastly, I read the
story out loud to catch any strange meanings or awkward fragments.
